1000% recommend!! Better than Kansas City BBQ i ever had! My 1st bite into the ribs and catfish I looked at my husband and asked him for a divorce.. I said I'm sorry but I just fell in love with who ever cooked this food lol. Had a nice laugh but it is by far amazing, superb, outstanding, and everything else and more.

Absolutely great service! Fast and friendly. The waiter told us about almost everything on the menu. Pork chop was cooking medium and perfect. Ribs were slightly dry but we did go at 10pm. Gumbo was amazing as well as the chicken tenders. Beans and turnip greens on point.

This place has a fantastic diner vibe, and the food was absolutely excellent! We ordered the brisket fries and chicken tenders, and both were delicious—hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Even though the wait staff was clearly very busy and service was a bit slow, the food came out almost immediately after ordering, which was impressive. Highly recommend for anyone craving great food in a laid-back setting!

When eating out of state, always rely on a local to tell you where to eat. The food was great, appetizer is big enough to feed a whole crew. The apple turnover and brownies deserts are delish, make sure to save room.

Stumbled in around 10:30pm after a long drive. Wasn’t expecting anything fantastic but this place blew my mind. We had the pulled pork fries to start and they were incredible. My husband and I split the 20oz steak. Yes you read that right, 20oz steak. Very delicious and cooked perfectly. The kids had chicken tenders and they couldn’t eat 3 because they were huge. Definitely stop in and have a meal and be prepared to share.

Pulled into town from Dallas and my family and I decided go to Beale St to have a late snack at Blues City Cafe. The food was great. I ordered catfish and fries, a cup of gumbo and greens. The fish was fresh and piping hot.

When I asked local people where to get good ribs, this was one of the suggestions I got multiple times and it did not disappoint. The ribs were amazing. The meat fell off the bone. It was a quiet, rainy Tuesday night the week before Christmas so it was not busy. Our food came out quickly and it was great. Most of the music clubs were closed so we stayed to listen (no cover charge) and really enjoyed the experience
